Travel Information

Dhammasarita is located at Sor Village situated between Khadavli Central Railway Station and Padgha Town. It is approximately 2 Kms. away from Khadavli Central Railway Station and 5 Kms from Padgha Town ( off Mumbai – Agra National Highway No. NH-03).

It is approximately 1.5 hours away from both Mumbai and Igatpuri

By Local Train - CST to Khadavli

Khadavli (KDV) is a station on the Central Railways Route between CST and Kasara. Titwala is the previous stop and Vasind is the next stop. It is a beautiful place and has a river beside it.

1. Take a Local Train towards Kasara ( Train No. N ) or Asangaon ( Train No. AN )
2. Khadavli is the fourth railway station after Kalyan
3. Take a Hire Autorikshaw upto Matoshree Vriddhashram ( Rs.40 or by sharing Rs. 10 ) which is situated in the same campus as Dhamma Saritā.

By Local Train - Dhammagiri, Igatpuri to Khadavli

1. Take a Sharing Taxi upto Kasara Station
2. From Kasara Railway Station take a Local Train towards CST (Train No. CST)
3. Khadavli is the eighth railway station from Kasara
4. Take a Hire Autorikshaw upto Matoshree Vriddhashram ( Rs.40 or by sharing Rs.10 ) which is situated in the same campus as Dhammasarita

By Local Train - Kasara to Khadavli

1. From Kasara Railway Station take a Local Train towards CST (Train No. CST)
2. Khadavli is the eighth railway station from Kasara
3. Take a Hire Autorikshaw upto Matoshree Vriddhashram ( Rs.40 or by sharing Rs.10 ) which is situated in the same campus as Dhammasarita

By Road - From Mumbai

1. Take the National Highway No.-03 ( Mumbai-Agra NH-3 )
2. Proceed towards the direction of Padgha or Shahapur or Igatpuri
3. From Padgha take right turn ( if travelling from Mumbai towards Igatpuri) to the Sor village or Khadavali Railway Station
4. From Padgha take left turn ( if travelling from Igatpuri towards Mumbai) to the Sor village or Khadavali Railway Station
5. The Center is situated in Sor Village about 5 kms from Padgha town.

By Road - From Airport ( Domestic & International, Mumbai )

Please try to arrive at the Mumbai airport before 1:00 PM on the day the course begins. Your departing flight should leave after 11:00 AM on the concluding day of the course.

Once at the airport, you will need to take a prepaid taxi or private taxi to the Center.

2. Approximate travel time taken to reach Khadavali via National Highway 3 ( NH-3 ) from the Airport is 2 hours in traffic.
