About Dhamma Saritā
Dhamma Saritā - The River of Dhamma, is a Vipassana Meditation Center, in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin, as taught by Shri S.N Goenka.
Dhamma Saritā was established in the year 1999, at the banks of River Bhatsa and since then it has been offering regular Anapana and Vipassana meditation courses for Adults, Teenagers and Children.
Spread across 2.5 acres of land and abundant in nature, this meditation center offers a nurturing environment for growth in Dhamma. Dhamma Saritā has a lush green campus with around 500 trees, a Dhamma Hall with a capacity of 100, comfortable rooms, kitchen, dining areas and office space. Expansion plans are on board.
Dhamma Saritā is located near Kalyan, Thane and is just about 1.5 hours away from Mumbai, the financial hub of India. It is also very close to Dhammagiri, Igatpuri (1.5 hours away), where the Vipassana International Academy and Vipassana Research Institute are located.
